Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Om Sri Sai Ram.

I am happy to send the 2017 SSIO Guidelines and Operations Manual that have been updated to reflect the spirit of the Organisation formed by Sathya Sai Baba. In addition, it includes the administrative duties, responsibilities and functions of various units of the SSIO. As in any guideline, flexibility is preserved to allow the zones to adjust their operations, as needed, in view of local traditions, customs and the law of the land. These documents reflect the hard work and wisdom of the Task Force in developing such guidance, after incorporating the valuable input from the senior officers of the organisation.

In 2016, the Prasanthi Council formed the Guidelines Task Force to revise the SSIO Guidelines and the Operations Manual for Sathya Sai Centres and Groups. With love and dedication, the Task Force worked hard for over a year to update these documents, which are practical, useful and comprehensive. I wish to congratulate the leader of the Task Force, Mr. Ashok Sakhrani and the Task Force members, Ms. Marianne Meyer, Mr. Leonardo Gutter, Dr. William Harvey, Ms. Petra von Kalinowski, Mr. Alex Grana, and Mr. Rohan Balasuriya for their outstanding efforts to develop these documents to help and guide the SSIO officers and devotees all over the world.

Kindly ensure that the SSIO Guidelines and the Operations Manual are studied and implemented, as we move forward with the divine mission. These documents can also be downloaded from the SSIO website using the links below:
