About the Public Outreach Committee

The goal of the committee is to spread the message of love and selfless service and information about the work of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

POC aims to spread and increase the awareness of spiritual teaching of Sri Sathya Sai Baba through:

• Community Engagement
• Walk for Values

Interfaith Activities

Let the different faiths exist, let them flourish, and let the glory of God be sung in all the languages and a variety of tunes. That should be the ideal. Respect the differences between the faiths and recognize them as valid as long as they do not extinguish the flame of unity”. ~ Sri Sathya Sai Baba

The goal of this sub-committee is the:

• promotion of selfless community service to the poor sick and needy,
• promoting human values to children, youth and society and
• promoting interfaith & interracial harmony though dialogue, collaboration and activities, e.g. seminars, service activities, music programs, drama festivals, choirs and orchestras that reflect the rich tapestry of faiths.

This sub-committee aims to share Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings and messages and His works with local communities on a regular basis through meeting for new comers at Sri Sathya Sai centres, meetings organised by Sri Sathya Sai members in their homes with relatives, friends and neighbours, and through meetings held at public venues.

The focus of this sub-committee is to identify and meet the needs of the local communities and uplift the community at large.

Walk for Values

End of Education is Character ~ Sri Sathya Sai Baba

The Walk for Values is a community program designed to raise awareness to practice Human Values and to promote individual and collective responsibility for the progress of humanity.

It is a non-‐monetary, non-denominational event, based on the five universal human values of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Nonviolence that are deemed integral for building “Communities of Character”
