Sai Young Adults Wing

The prosperity and welfare of the future rests on the behaviour of the youth of the world.
Only young men and women are capable of eradicating the evils prevailing in society. If we have virtuous youth, all ills of society can be removed. ~ Sri Sathya Sai Baba

About the Canadian Sai Young Adults Wing

The SSIO Canada has a youth program for young adults between the ages of 18-40. The primary objectives of this wing are to:

  • support Young Adults to engage in spiritual and educational activities
  • conduct community service and humanitarian relief projects

Our membership includes people of all religions, faiths and nationalities striving to support all of humankind to realize the innate divinity within themselves and the world around them.

Canadian Sai Young Adults Wing Wing Activities

Listed below are some of the activities organized by the Sai Young Adults wing across Canada:

Blood Donation
Young Adults collectively donate blood at the Canadian Blood Services.

Meal Distribution
Sai Young adults often come together to prepare nutritious meals and serve them to the less fortunate. We have served meals independently and in collaboration with a variety of local charities.

Study Circles (discussion groups)
Sai Young adults gather together to discuss spiritual topics in relation to a variety of topics such as current events, and experiences within their age range. Spiritual literature from all around the world is referred to and there is a key focus on how the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba can be applied practically to everyday life.

National Festivals and Conferences
The Canadian Young Adults also hosts national festivals and conferences. This provides young adults from all around Canada the opportunity to meet, exchange and collaborate. These events consist of devotional singing from all faiths and religions, workshops on spiritual growth and personal/professional development, and new opportunities to exchange and showcase ideas for community service projects.
