Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Om Sri Sai Ram.

This is an update to the letter sent on August 28, 2017 about the humanitarian relief work of the SSIO for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Meanwhile, another Hurricane (Irma) has already left a path of destruction across several islands in the West Indies and fast approaches the Florida coast. Many devotees have expressed their desire to participate in relief efforts.

In response, the SSIO of USA, Region 10 and the USA National Council will soon be distributing a list of items needed to help local Texas communities. In addition, similar relief efforts may be required in South East USA (Region 3), depending on Hurricane Irma’s impact.

The Sathya Sai Society of America, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable foundation started in 1968 with the blessings of Sathya Sai Baba, has established a 2017 Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund to support the on-going relief efforts in Texas. Those who wish to contribute to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund can mail checks payable to Sathya Sai Society of America, to the following address:
