On June 10, 2017, the first-ever regional service project that involved service for seniors was held at the Sathya Sai Centre of Middlefield. The day was organized to help seniors feel like they are still apart of the Sai family. Over the years and due to various reasons, seniors have not been able to come out to Sai centres and regular bhajan sessions.

The day started off with breakfast and networking where the seniors got a chance to sit down and talk with each other over some coffee. Sai Young Adults (YAs) then proceeded to an icebreaker introduction, asking senior devotees how long they have known Sathya Sai Baba. This brought forth some really personal stories which allowed the YAs to realize the special bond that the senior devotees shared with Sathya Sai Baba. Next, the YAs proceeded with activities such as jeopardy, charades, and word puzzles. The day was capped off with lunch and more free time for the seniors to talk with each other and with the YAs.
