Aradhana Mahotsavam for the year 2019 was commemorated by the Cooksville Sai Centre on Wednesday April 24th day, a day when our beloved Bhagavan left His physical form and became omnipresent.

On this special day the Centre held programs to inspire Swami’s devotees.  The day started at 5 a.m. with the Sai Subrapatham followed by Nagarasankirthanam till 6 a.m.  From 6 a.m. – 7 a.m.  Veda chanting was devoutly presented followed by bhajans until 7:30 AM. Approximately 30 devotees participated in the morning event.  A light breakfast as Mahaprasad was served.

In the evening, programs began at 6:30 p.m. with opening prayers followed by sloka chanting by the SSE children.  SSE children chanted Mantra Pushpam, Medha Suktam and Bhaja Govindam. Many practice sessions were held to prepare the students to chant these slokas as an offering to our Beloved Bhagavan on this auspicious day.

At 7 p.m. we had a special guest speaker, sister Meera Gangapersad, who is an alumnus of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning Anantapur Campus.  She was very happy to share her first-hand experiences with Swami.

We had a bhajan session between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.  Once the Bhajan session was completed, the Youth & SSE children’s harmonious and well-tuned Medley Musical program was performed.  Our Youth and the SSE children were very well prepared after many weeks of practice. They successfully delivered this musical program to our Beloved Bhagavan. The closing prayers and aarathi were offered at 9 p.m. to conclude the evening program.

Our Cooksville Sai members conducted a sadhana for 101 days and wrote Likitha Japam to be offered on Aradhana day.  On this day, after the closing prayers, all Likitha Japam papers were laid down beneath Swami’s altar. Dinner was served at the end of the event. All Cooksville Sai Centre wings came together to make this event possible and successful. Swami’s presence and Grace was felt by all on this auspicious 24th of April.
