World Interfaith Harmony Week Celebration: The Promise of inclusion
The weather forecast for February 3rd called for wet flurries and a risky drive on the roads. But the weather patterns in the wet and cold afternoon of February 3rd did very little to rob the hosts and the guests of their intense enthusiasm and sincere passion in celebrating inclusion and interfaith harmony with delightful musical offerings and insightful talks . This significant event was held at the Toronto York Centre in the presence of Swami’s altar.
The Warmth of Christmas
A community devotional singing program held every month was scheduled for Sunday, December 10, 2017. About 35 members of the Cooksville Sai Centre including children, young adults and parents volunteered in this musical program called “Melody of Divine Love” to perform a special Christmas program.
Tree Planting
Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Cooksville participated in an annual Tree Planting event in partnership with the City of Mississauga. This took place on Saturday, September 23rd at 2:00pm at Aquinas Park in Mississauga. The day was also the hottest weekend of this year’s summer season.

Canada Day—150 Years, a Commemorative Birthday
The Sathya Sai Centre of Cooksville had the opportunity to organize two prayer sessions to celebrate the happy occasion of Canada’s 150th commemorative birthday, oneness with its diversity, and unity of colours.
Wheelchair Clinic at Participation House
As part of its annual summer activities, for over the last 20 years, 16 members including 9 Sai Young Adults from the Sathya Sai Centre of Toronto-York volunteered at a Wheelchair Clinic at the Participation House in Markham, Ontario.
Pre-Canadian Sai Young Adults Festival 2017
Over a hundred Sai Young Adults from Eastern Canada gathered at the Sathya Sai School in Toronto to take part in the Pre-Canadian Sai Young Adults Festival. The half-day event was held in order to provide young adults from Eastern Canada with a taste of what could be expected during the actual upcoming festival event in Val Morin, Quebec.
Music Therapy at Senior Home in Cooksville
The Cooksville Sai Centre has taken on an initiative – Melody of Divine Love – to provide the service of music therapy while simultaneously spreading Sathya Sai Baba’s name.
Earth Day 2017: Tree Planting
More than 70 members from the Sathya Sai Centre of Toronto-York participated in a tree planting event organized by the City of Toronto’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation department in honour of Earth Day. The members joined nearly 350 volunteers from the city, and 10 other organizations from across the city.
