Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Cooksville participated in an annual Tree Planting event in partnership with the City of Mississauga. This took place on Saturday, September 23rd at 2:00pm at Aquinas Park in Mississauga. The day was also the hottest weekend of this year’s summer season.

Seniors’ Day Regional Service Project in Middlefield
On June 10, 2017, the first-ever regional service project that involved service for seniors was held at the Sathya Sai Centre of Middlefield. The day was organized to help seniors feel like they are still apart of the Sai family.
2017 Navaratri Celebration in Cooksville
The Sathya Sai Centre of Cooksville celebrated Navaratri to commemorate Mother Sai.
Second Region 2 Young Adults Bhajan Session
On June 9, 2017, the second Region 2 young adults bhajan session was held at the Sathya Sai Centre of Middlefield, with over 30 young adults along with adults in attendance.
An Interfaith Event in Alberta
The Edmonton Sai Centre received an invitation to participate in an interfaith event on June 28th, 2015 in the town of Whitecourt, Alberta which is a smaller resource-based community about two hours northwest of Edmonton. The event was sponsored by the Ahamadiyya Muslim Jama’at and hosted by Reverend Alwin Maben, the local United Church minister.
First Region 2 Young Adults Bhajan Session
On March 12, 2017, the first Region 2 young adults bhajan session was held. The session was attended by over 50 young adults along with adults from the various centres.
Sistering: A Youth Girls Service Project at an All Women’s Shelter
As an initiative to start new seva activities, the Youth Girls of the Scarborough Sai Centre has started serving an all-woman’s shelter called Sistering located in Toronto, Ontario.
Sathya Sai School of Canada Interview with Radio Sai
On the happy occasion of its inauguration, Radio Sai recently invited four SSIO Canada members who have been heavily involved with the Sathya Sai School of Canada for a long-distance interview. As the interview progressed, the history, effort, design, and current activities of the school came into light.
